Verbal description |
The surface of the weapon is all over corroded but it seems to be almost completely preserved. The single edged blade has a flat back. The cross-guard is nearly stright and on the outside there is a so called nagel. The grip is probable made of bone. There are a number of superfluous rivet holes, some of them are closed with dowels made of bone. Maybe a historical second time use of the grip scale. The grip ends in a simple gap. |
